Group activities to do this Summer in spite of COVID-19

Feeling locked up and having cabin fever in this pandemic world? Well how about getting out close to nature on a small group, hiking tour?

I just came back from exploring the most interesting National Parks in the Southwest, including: Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon, and Yosemite. Also, checked out Reno, Nevada, Virginia City, Carson City, Lake Tahoe – North and South shores, California Gold Country and the Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains (Mammoth Lakes and Devils Postpile National Monument). One thing was clear, the international tourists were missing and the crowds are very light. Meaning this is the best time to be out and enjoying the parks, lakes, rivers, hikes, swims and towns in the Southwest USA. Less people means getting activity services are quick and easy, from renting a kayak, mountain bike, boat to fishing poles, just walk in and book the activity.

Another surprise, parking at popular trail heads and beaches were generally available on first try.
